I recently had the privilege of a 90 minute facial while visiting The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Boston. I chose this facial because the assistant at the Spa's front desk said it was their, "most popular, results driven treatment" and clients all left "tightened, toned and radiant." My curiosity was peaked, the appointment was booked and my gosh, the results were extraordinary.
The facial is performed using the Aromatherapy Associates Aroma Lift Machine that delivers professional levels of Micro current, Galvanic and High Frequency to the skin. This luxury treatment actually tones facial muscles, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and re-hydrates skin, giving an overall toned, firm and lifted look and feel that was promised.
My exceptional esthetician, Melinda had a sophisticated knowledge of how to use the microcurrent wands to re-shape my facial and neck muscles. There was an Aromatherapy Associates Enzymatic Peel to brighten up my complexion and a professional Vitamin C topical that was used to address my sun spots. All of this intertwined with lymphatic drainage, micro circulation, galvanic, high frequency and lifting movements to tone the skin. This treatment is completed by intense hydration from the Rose Infinity Moisturizer that left my skin supremely firm and nourished.The Aromatherapy Associates Rose Infinity line was used throughout the treatment and was gentle, yet effective on my fragile skin.
Melinda focused on my areas of concern; neck, eyes, forehead and jowls. At the end of the treatment everything was lifted and my face felt like it had a 60 minute muscle workout - I could feel that my entire face was tightened from deep within. I could not stop staring in the mirror for the next three days, it was truly like a face lift! The results lasted about a week.
I am now a HUGE fan of micro current, even though I have tried it before - my results after this treatment were unmatched to previous treatments I have had.
