How to Use the TriSun Therapy & Desk Lamp

Maximize the benefits of light therapy by considering the following:

Intensity

Use full brightness at arm’s length (20-28 inches) for 30-60 minutes daily. If the light feels too bright, adjust the distance or lower the brightness with the dimmer, extending your session time to get the right amount of light.

Distance

Position the light to the side with the shade directed towards you. Keep your eyes open and let the light reach your eyes indirectly; no need to stare directly at the light for it to be effective.

Time

Light therapy is most effective in the morning. Avoid using the lamp in therapy mode in the evening to prevent sleep disruption. Consult your doctor to tailor your light therapy routine to your needs.
