The natural movement in skin care is no secret these days. I speak with clients all over the world who tell me how concerned their clients are with ingredients and environmentally friendly treatments.
While many are focused on skin care/body treatments, there are also options for hair care! From creating your own oils for scalp massage to actual hair treatments, there are many natural options to excite your clients!
Here are some ingredient ideas to get you started:
Calendula flowers are awesome as a scalp treatment! Calendula helps calm irritated and/or sensitive scalps! Infuse a carrier oil with the flowers for a great scalp massage!
Dandelion Leaves work well for relief from dandruff and dry hair.
Ginger is excellent in a hair mask and/or scalp massage as it helps to stimulate hair growth. It also adds a little pep to the treatment!
Lemon Balm is great for clients with oily hair. It has mild astringent properties that help balance oil production.
Nettle is an all purpose hair herb - it helps with preventing hair loss, stimulates the scalp, helps with dandruff, split ends and helps with shine!
Rose Hips are chock full of vitamin c making them an excellent choice for strengthening hair
If you'd rather not make your own, take a look at the hair oil line from Organic Fiji!
