The box is nice looking and thick - it was like unboxing a new iPhone... anticipation was high! Inside I found a very nicely made unit which came with the mask, a filter, a charger, soft rubbery ear straps a soft bag, instructions and 2 front plates... 1 white and 1 blue. I liked the white plate better and went with that, but they are easy to swap... held on by magnets.
I attached the ear straps, put the filter in and then the front cover on. I plugged in the charger and the mask has a nice led that lights up to indicate it is charging. Once charged, it was testing time!
It is a mixed review... honestly, a regular disposable or washable mask is more comfortable. However, we all know those are hot and restrict your breathing a bit. That is where this mask shines... the positive pressure airflow makes breathing nice AND cooling. The turbine is very quiet... like a computer fan, but think of it more like quiet white noise... I like it!
I feel this mask is perfect for when you are actually performing services, like lash extensions, lash tinting, facials, massage, waxing, etc. You want to be cool and breath easy and this mask really helps. For every day use I think a regular mask is better.
About the fit... for a giant headed man like me, I have to wear it fairly tight to get a good seal - I think it would fit a more petite face better, but it still works for me.
