Is your spa/salon utilizing every possible holiday/special occasion to reach new clients?
We all expect the usual Valentines and Mother's day but are you offering a Father's Day special or pushing gift certificates for the men in your client's lives?
The industry has seen continuous growth of male clients in recent years and it is expected to rise to new levels this year. While many men may not be coming in for full day services (yet!) they may enjoy a special day of manicures, facials, hot shaves, massages or cuts depending on the services you offer.
As you already know, once a client is in the door it is much easier to get them to try out new services by either add ons or offering a discounted price to try a new service on their next visit.
If you already have male clients, make sure they know you are offering Father's Day specials with incentives on trying to new services. For the women, make sure they know you are offering Father's Day specials and have gift certificates available. You could even go so far as offering incentives for the clients who PURCHASE the gift certificate. For each gift certificate that they buy or is redeemed (however you want to work it!) they can receive a discount on a service or a free add on. Make it exciting, new and something the client's will enjoy.
Don't forget to ensure your retail items for guys are visible and accessible this time of year as well.
