How to Apply
- Prep the nails by removing or pushing back the cuticles, lightly buffing the nail plate to remove shine, and cleansing with alcohol to remove oils and dust.
- Apply one layer of gel base coat and cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Apply 1–2 coats of soak-off gel color. Madam Glam recommends using Perfect Black beneath Cosmic Sparkle for the most dramatic effect.
- Cure between color layers under a UV/LED lamp.
- Apply 1–2 layers of Cosmic Sparkle and cure each layer for 30–60 seconds under an LED lamp or according to your lamp and gel system instructions.
- Finish with a gel top coat and cure for 30–60 seconds under a UV/LED lamp.
Application Tips
- Apply thin, even coats and cure between each layer.
- Use base and top coat from the same gel system for best compatibility.
- Avoid applying lotion or cuticle oil before gel application, as excess oils can contribute to lifting.
- Avoid contact with the skin and cuticle area.
- Cap the free edge to help create a sealed finish around the nail tip.
- Darker base colors may require longer curing than lighter shades.
Removal
Remove by soaking in acetone or by using Madam Glam Gel Polish Remover according to the manufacturer’s directions.
