Help your clients prepare for summer by offering "Tush Treatments" - like a facial, but for the other end! |
Our rear ends are under a lot of pressure these days....both literally and figuratively. Many of us sit on it for hours a day. We put it through excruciating pain to get it looking just how we like when we are dancing or prancing. We use it for virtually every lower body movement we make. Why not make its skin smooth, shiny, and beautiful too?
For spas and estheticians, Tush Treatments are becoming all the rage! If you are comfortable with scrubbing and polishing clients' behinds, this can be an excellent source of revenue for you - especially at this time of year! Clients everywhere are baring all, and that includes their rears. Make them feel beautiful, front AND back!
Sample Suggested Tush Treatment Protocol
If you have a basic facial room, this simple protocol can be easily followed to target hydration and toning "back there!"
- Rear end/back/thigh skin analysis
PRO TIP: Excellent time to discuss waxing down under with your client! - Cleanse
- Exfoliate
- Steam
-
Extractions (as needed)
PRO TIP: Extractions in this area is little different from other skin - the hair follicles are different, and squeezing will only serve to spread bacteria and cause more acne. -
High Frequency for acne (as needed)
PRO TIP: High frequency will need to be on a higher setting than you would use on the face. - Gently massage, using upward strokes and a light, non-comedogenic massage lotion or oil.
- Apply applicable mask (acne, hydrating, etc.)
- Apply toner
-
Moisturize
PRO TIP: Since the rear end is covered by undergarments and pants, keep the moisturizer light to avoid clogging pores and creating more problems than you are solving!)
Best part about this treatment is coming up with the cutest, catchiest name you can! I am partial to Skin by Molly's "Shiny Hiney" treatment! What are the best names you can think of?
