The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550 hit US showrooms on Tuesday, and the feature list sounds more like a luxury spa treatment menu than a list of pluses for a vehicle.
Forget that New Car Smell....the new S550 features a scent-control system that is intended to scent your interior to your liking. Mercedes-Benz is offering specially-created scents such as Sports Mood, Nightlife Mood, and Downtown Mood, and it comes with an empty vial to fill with your favorite alcohol-based fragrance. Aromatherapy, anyone?
Maybe even more exciting is the newest seat massage feature - that simulates a hot stone massage! Taking multi-tasking to new limits, you can now get in your Hot Stone Massage while driving. Or riding. Or, if you're a big spender, you can even get your simulated Hot Stone Massage in the back seat, which is a feature of the Executive Package!
Somehow, I don't know that the Hot Stone Massage simulation in the S550 will quite live up to the relaxation of a Spa Hot Stone Massage, but it is a cool option, nonetheless.
